Reply with quote | #3 | A different take on Team Rankings:
1. Wantagh (the recruits make the difference) 2. MacArthur (always finds a way to win) 3. Seaford (great coaching coming to fruition) 4. Long Beach (tough bunch of kids) 5. Uniondale (always strong) 6. Calhoun (the addition of abidin is big) 7. Syosset (arujau leads a good group for them) 8. Garden City (should have at least 5 all-county wrestlers this year) 9. Bellmore JFK (has alot of experienced kids) 10. Division (good coach gets the most out of his wrestlers) __________________ spalsh601 |

Splash. Please don't hide behind a screen name. What recruits are you talking about ? The ones that own homes with their families ? The ones that are trying to get into an Ivy league school because of their wrestling abilities ? Oh those recruits.. |

splash, how are you going to rank seaford ahead of long beach, uniondale syosset. what has happened in the offseason that makes you think they are better. honestly, i dont think they could beat garden city or massapequa. im not taking a shot at seaford their doing some good things down there. i just dont think they are top 5 in the county yet __________________ timewilltell |

Reply with quote | #6 | I think it is clear that wantagh and macarthur will seaparate tehmselves from the bunch this year. Long Beach will close the gap, but my surprise team is Calhoun. Garden City will be extremely tough as well, with 3 possible county champs.
the addition of abidin gives calhoun a lot of power to play with their lineup. They have solid wrestlers throughout the lineup. abidin chifatella maldarelli navas bader all can get 6 points at any time. If there younger wrestlers can stay off their backs, calhoun will be a tough team to beat. __________________ AZ |

although it is none of your concern for the switch but the reason is that calhoun offers a very prestigous theatre class which is very high level and anyone who lives in bellmore or merrick even if they live across the street from lets say kennedy high school can attend calhoun just to take that class and can go to school there just for it __________________ the only place success comes before work is in the dictonary |
