Reply with quote | #1 | What are the rules surrounding Grabbing/Holding the toe/toes? i remember watching a match last season where a kid held it and his opponent got a point, but i'd like some further clarification if thats possible. __________________ Never,Never,Never Quit |

Reply with quote | #2 | I'll assume the kid penalized was in the top position and was hit for stalling. The rule is if you grab the ankle/shoelaces/toes to break the bottom man down, it is stalling if you hold onto it for longer than a "5 count". |

Reply with quote | #3 | There is also an additional issue besides the 5 second rule, although I am not clear on what it is. I saw it happen to Nick Fera last year for grabbing the toe. It was not a stalling, but a penalty point. __________________ **********************************************

twisting against the natural range of motion can always be penalized as a technical violation, though it is normanlly just called potentially dangerous. |
